This drink comes to us from way back in 1917, when adding orange juice to spirits was such a newfangled concept that the bar where it was invented went through more than a case of oranges a day. That’s a lot of oranges for 1917!

Ingredients
- 2 parts Gin
- ¼ part Sweet vermouth
- ¼ part Dry vermouth
- 1 part Orange juice
- 2 dashes Orange bitters
Instructions
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange twist or wedge, and/or a cherry.
