Daiquiri D’ananas

Bright, grassy, and tropical, the Daiquiri D’ananas from Seattle’s local legend Erik Hakkinen is quickly becoming one of our favorite daiquiri riffs.
Each ingredient plays its role so perfectly, but we’re especially impressed by the pineapple liqueur. Hakkinen is a consultant to Giffard, a producer of excellent fruit liqueurs, and for this he chose their fabulous Caribbean Pineapple Liqueur. The drink itself doesn’t actually taste strongly of pineapple, but the liqueur mingles so well with the grassy agricole and the nutty orgeat, lending a gentle tropical sweetness that perfectly balances the recipe.

Ingredients
- 1½ parts Unaged rhum agricole or Aged rhum agricole
- ¾ part Pineapple liqueur
- ¾ part Lime juice
- ¼ part Orgeat
Instructions
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail or coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
