Rikki-Tikki-Tavi-Tini cocktail with gin, coconut rum, bergamot liqueur, and lemon juice.

Rikki-Tikki-Tavi-Tini

We’re typically loathe to include drinks with “-tini” in the name, but the Rikki-Tikki-Tavi-Tini from Greg Titian at How to Drink is one exception. It deserves the name, because it really does feel like the most tropical interpretation of a Martini possible: it’s crisp and clear like one, and yet the coconut rum makes it sweet and playful. It’s tremendously unusual and difficult to categorize, and surprisingly pleasant.

Titian introduced the drink as part of a Malibu-sponsored segment on his YouTube channel, but the drink could almost certainly be tinkered with and ingredients substituted; try it with your favorite gin and coconut rum and tweak the proportions if need be.
