Master mixologist Jeremy Oertel is the brains behind the Summer of George, a brilliant tequila + pear cocktail that we just can’t stop sipping. It’s sweet and tart, and well-rounded thanks the two types of tequilas.
Oertel calls for St. George’s spiced pear liqueur, which includes cinnamon and clove flavors. It will still be quite tasty with a simpler variety of pear liqueur, but the spices are just beautiful alongside the honey and orgeat.
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a short glass filled with crushed or pebble ice. Garnish with a slice or fan of pear.
