Invented by Christopher Flett at Pourhouse in Vancouver, it swaps the original’s blended Canadian whiskey for a mix of rye and bourbon, and adds some intrigue with smoky artichoke amaro and a kiss of funky maraschino.
Stir all ingredients with ice until chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail or coupe glass.
