Bourbon’s Foster

Bourbon’s Foster is a decadent cocktail that used to be served at the Alamo Drafthouse chain of movie theaters. When it left the menu, one of our users reached out to Alamo beverage director Bill Norris to get the recipe, and sent it our way. (Thanks, NL!)

Named after the flambeed-banana dessert, the Bourbon’s Foster demands the finest banana liqueur you can get your hands on. Alamo used Giffard’s Banane du Brésil, a favorite of ours as well.

Stir all ingredients with ice, and strain into a chilled cocktail or coupe glass. Garnish with a slice of banana or a dried banana chip.
