Brandy Snapper

The original recipe from Frank Newman’s 1907 book American Bar called for brandy, but it’s such a simple, lovely drink that we find ourselves reaching for the good cognac when we make it.

Ingredients
- 2 parts Cognac or Brandy
- ½ part Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Raspberry liqueur or Raspberry syrup
- 1 tsp Honey syrup
Instructions
Shake with ice and strain into an ice-filled short glass. Garnish with a twist or slice of lemon or orange.
