Cypriot Brandy Sour

The Cypriot Brandy Sour was suggested to us by a Cocktail Party user – how lucky are we, to get so many great cocktail suggestions from all you fine folk! It’s easy-drinking and refreshing, and a long-time favorite of British soldiers posted in Cyprus.
If you order one of these in Cyprus, it’ll likely be made with the nation’s own variety of brandy, a caramel-forward spirit lighter in flavor than, say, Cognac. You can use any brandy you like, though; we’ve even enjoyed a few with Metaxa, a Greek brandy flavored with roses and other botanicals.

Ingredients
- 2 parts Brandy or Cognac
- 1 dash Aromatic bitters or Creole bitters or Lemon bitters
- 4 parts Lemon soda
Instructions
Build in the order given in a tall ice-filled glass. Serve with a straw, and garnish with a slice of lemon if you like.
