This ain’t no sippin’ drink – this is a hangover cure, straight from Robert Hess at SmallScreenNetwork.com. It calls for the yolk of one egg which gives it a velvety texture not unlike Pepto-Bismol, with similar results (we tried it!) As with any drink using egg, you should double-strain before serving to make sure you don’t get any nasty bits.
- 1½ part Aged rum
- 1 dash Apricot liqueur
- 1 dash Orange curaçao
- 1 dash Grenadine
- 1 whole Egg yolk
Dry shake the ingredients first (meaning, without ice). Then add ice and shake again. Double-strain into a chilled rocks glass – no ice, so you can pound it down to your tum-tum faster.
