Margarita

There are at least a dozen different recipes for this classic cocktail, but we think the 2-1-1-.25 ratio is ideal. The extra bit of agave or simple syrup isn’t traditional, but we find it helps when limes are out-of-season and not as sweet, or when you’re serving drinkers with a sweeter palate. Feel free to omit it.

Ingredients
- 2 parts Blanco tequila or Aged tequila
- 1 part Triple sec or Orange curaçao
- 1 part Lime juice
- ¼ part Agave nectar or Simple syrup or Granulated sugar
Instructions
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass or margarita glass. If you’d like, rim the glass in salt beforehand – but make sure to only rim the outside of the glass, not the top or inside edge.
