No Words, I'm Drinking cocktail by Mike Yoshioka, with pineapple rum, banana liqueur, yellow Chartreuse, and lime juice

No Words, I’m Drinking

No Words, I’m Drinking is a melted banana popsicle in cocktail form, set against an herby pineapple backdrop.

This is a riff on the classic Last Word formula, and it couldn’t be easier to make – equal parts of everything makes for a perfect balance of tart lime, tropical fruits, and the mysteriously complex sweetness of yellow Chartreuse.

The recipe is the brainchild of Mike Yoshioka (@mmydrinks), who used to regularly host creative cocktail recipe events on Instagram. The #wehavethelastword hash tag still features many of the excellent recipes submitted for that event back in 2017.
