Pink on Pink

If you’ve never made a cocktail with a rosé wine apéritif (like Lillet Rosé or Cocchi Americano Rosa), this recipe from cocktail consultant Chauncey Scates is a perfect place to start. The Pink on Pink is beautiful, simple, and as easy to make as it is to drink.
This recipe calls for a fairly large portion of grenadine for color, but it assumes you’re using a real pomegranate grenadine (better for flavor, but weaker color). If all you have on hand is the standard Rose’s red corn syrup grenadine, pull it back to half the amount specified.

Ingredients
- 1½ parts Vodka
- ¾ part Rosé wine apéritif
- ¾ part Lemon juice
- ½ part Grenadine
- 1 dash Creole bitters
Instructions
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
