The Port Authority, from Thomas Waugh at Death & Co, is a lovely, spiritous little sour that looks sweeter than it actually is. The flavor is tart, velvety, and complex – perfect for sipping slowly after a long day.
Gently muddle the blackberries in a shaker. Add the remaining ingredients and ice, and shake well. Double-strain through a fine mesh strainer into a chilled cocktail or coupe glass. Garnish with fresh blackberries.
