South Slope

The South Slope, from famed mixologist Michael Madrusian, is quickly becoming one of our favorite summer drinks. Trendy though they are, Aperol (a bitter citrus apéritif) and Lillet Blanc (a white wine apéritif) are absolutely dynamite together.
We’d stick with Aperol for this one, as bitter Campari would take over the delicate flavors of Lillet Blanc (or Cocchi Americano, if you prefer).
This makes for a small drink, so be sure your glassware doesn’t dwarf it. We like it in a champagne coupe or Nick and Nora glass.

Ingredients
- ¾ part Gin
- ¾ part Sweet orange apéritif
- ¾ part White wine apéritif
- ½ part Orange curaçao
- ½ part Lemon juice
Instructions
Shake with ice and strain into a small chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
