Fun fact: Amaretto, while it tastes like almonds, is actually made from apricot pits. Apricots and almonds are in the same family along with peaches and other stone fruit. This drink reminded us of a classy version of Southern Comfort and lime, and when you think about it, it makes perfect sense.
