Susina Sour

The Susina Sour, from Nostrana in Portland, Oregon, was the first cocktail we had that really turned us on to the potential of plum brandy. It imparts a dry, fruity richness to this sour, and is perfectly complemented by citrus and juniper.
Nostrana uses Clear Creek Distillery’s Blue Plum Brandy, a local favorite. We’ve also tried it with our favorite Serbian slivovitz, and it’s a gem either way.

Ingredients
- ¾ part Plum brandy
- ¾ part Orange curaçao
- ½ part Gin or Aged gin
- ¾ part Lemon juice
- ¾ part Honey syrup
Instructions
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail or coupe glass. Garnish with a brandied cherry skewered on a rosemary sprig.
