The Tangaroa is an unusual cocktail from tiki historian and mixologist Jeff “Beachbum” Berry. It features the rare pairing of mango and amaretto, which works surprisingly well – the almond flavor of amaretto is a delicious counterpart to the rich sweetness of mango nectar or mango juice.
- 1 part Light rum
- 1 part Aged rum or Spiced rum
- ¼ part Amaretto
- 2 parts Mango nectar
- ½ part Lime juice
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a flute or cocktail glass. Garnish with a mango slice and a cinnamon stick.
