Washington Apple

The Washington Apple is a classic dive bar shot that is easy to elevate with quality ingredients. Made with an excellent apple liqueur (we’re partial to Berentzen’s apfelkorn), a solid whiskey (bourbon is well-suited), and decent quality cranberry juice, it fares excellently as a full-size, grown-up cocktail.

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail or coupe glass. Garnish with a fresh or dried apple slice.
