This unusual drink was probably inspired by the 1922 silent movie Blood and Sand. Mixologist Gaz Regan turned us onto the idea of serving it as a highball with extra orange juice, and it’s since become one of our favorite ways to start a lazy Sunday.
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass, or serve over ice in a tall glass and top with more orange juice.
