Strange Weather

The Strange Weather by Wisconsin mixologist Chad Doll took home the first-place prize at the 2009 Drambuie Den cocktail competition.
It is strange, indeed – Drambuie (a scotch whisky liqueur made with honey), gin, and cherry brandy aren’t often found in the same glass! It is genuinely delicious, though – the citrus juice and agave are a perfect complement to the herbal flavors of gin and Drambuie and the rich spice of the cherry brandy.
With our in-season orange and lemon, the drink came out just a tad sweet for our tastes. You may want to pull back just a bit on the agave if your citrus is very sweet.

Ingredients
- 2 parts Gin
- ¾ part Scotch whisky liqueur
- ¾ part Cherry brandy
- 1 part Orange juice
- ¾ part Lemon juice
- ¾ part Agave nectar
Instructions
Shake all ingredients (except the bitters) with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail or coupe glass. Add the bitters to the top of the drink and garnish with an edible flower, if you have one.
