Ichigo Sour

Strawberry (ichigo in Japanese) and sake are a classic pairing, and they’re at their best in the Ichigo Sour, a recipe from the Sake One company. Sake One recommends nigori sake, an unfiltered variety with more sweetness and rice flavor. However, this simple recipe lends itself to any type of sake, including sparkling. You could also mix it up by using strawberry or lemon syrup in place of simple, or lemon juice if you don’t have yuzu on hand.
