Rose syrup is an inspired pairing with lychee, and the egg white (or aquafaba, a vegan alternative) gives the drink a velvety feel, like a soft rose petal.

Shake all ingredients first without ice, and then again with ice added (that’s called a “dry shake”). Double-strain through a fine mesh strainer into a chilled small cocktail glass, and garnish with fresh or dried edible rose petals.
