Peach Flip cocktail recipe with gin, peach, egg, lemon juice, and simple syrup

Peach Flip

Flips are typically wintry drinks, lush with baking spices, but the Peach Flip from Nolet’s Gin shows that a flip can feature bright, fresh flavors too.

Nolet’s recipe calls for a commercial peach purée, many of which include additional sweeteners. We made the Peach Flip with freshly-blended peach, and enjoyed the mild sweetness of the resulting drink, but our sweet-toothed users may wish to add a touch more syrup.

Naturally, the recipe calls for Nolet’s Silver Dry Gin – but a floral-forward botanical gin would be fitting as well.

Blend or muddle some fresh peach, if you’re not using a commercial product. Add all ingredients to a shaker without ice (this is called a “dry shake”) and shake vigorously. Add ice and shake again. Double-strain through a fine mesh sieve into a chilled cocktail or coupe glass. Dust the top with some freshly-grated nutmeg and a slice of fresh peach.
