Queen’s Park Hotel Super Cocktail

Yet another lost-again found-again classic from Jell “Beachbum” Berry’s Potions of the Caribbean, this one is notable for how much sweet vermouth it brings to the table. Make sure it’s fresh – after a month or so, vermouth tends get a slightly funky twang to it.
There’s also a fair amount of grenadine in the recipe – you’ll be doing yourself a favor if you get proper pomegranate grenadine, not the red corn syrup usually passed off for it.

Ingredients
- 1½ parts Aged rum
- ½ part Sweet vermouth
- ½ part Lime juice
- ½ part Grenadine
Instructions
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist or wheel of lime.
