Yet another lost-again found-again classic from Jeff “Beachbum” Berry’s Potions of the Caribbean, this one is notable for how much sweet vermouth it brings to the table. Make sure it’s fresh – after a month or so, vermouth tends get a slightly funky twang to it.
There’s also a fair amount of grenadine in the recipe – you’ll be doing yourself a favor if you get proper pomegranate grenadine, not the red corn syrup usually passed off for it.
