Be sure to rub the twist around the edge of the glass before serving; the smoky citrus oils elevate the drink into something truly profound.
Shake everything but the sparkling wine with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with an orange twist, preferably a flamed one.
