We never did find out if they won, but we did eventually end up making the recipe, and it’s made its way into our summertime rotation. The base is sweet and strong; control it with the amount of sparkling water you top it with.
Muddle the strawberries in a shaker. Add the remaining ingredients (not the sparking water, but yes to the rosemary sprig) with ice. Strain into an ice-filled glass, top with sparkling water, and garnish with a fresh sprig of rosemary.
