Bitter Darling

This one comes to us from Rosie Schaap of the New York Times, who invented it for a holiday party. She calls for clementine juice specifically, so use that if you’ve got it – but the orange juice version is perfectly lovely.

Ingredients
- 1 part Rye whiskey or Bourbon
- ½ part Ginger liqueur
- 1 parts Orange juice
Instructions
Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass, coupé, or any small, dainty glass. It’s also great over ice in a short glass.
