This Pumpkin Toddy from PDT’s Jane Danger is a perfect hot drink for fall or winter, celebrating the mild flavor of pumpkin with the added notes of apple and maple. Danger’s original recipe called for a mere teaspoon of pumpkin puree, but we’ve found that you can increase that a bit, or even substitute pumpkin syrup.

Warm up a heatproof mug by filling it with hot water and then dumping it out. Add all ingredients and stir. Top with hot water (about 5 oz, or 150 ml) and stir. Garnish with a dusting of grated cinnamon.
