Queen’s Road

The Queen’s Road is a rare Don the Beachcomber tiki recipe that doesn’t involve five different rums, a giant tiki mug, and all manner of garnishes; in fact, it’s quite restrained given its origins.

Like all great tiki drinks, though, the Queen’s Road is complex and delicious, with no one flavor standing out beyond the others. Curiously, ginger syrup is used almost like the bitters here – you won’t taste a strong ginger flavor, but it adds just a tiny bit of spice and richness.
