Stir all ingredients with ice until well-chilled. Strain into an ice-filled short glass. Express an orange twist over the drink and drop in as a garnish.
Alternately, if you prefer to serve it “mist style,” as DeGroff calls it, you can shake or stir it and then gently pour over shaved ice in a glass.
Garnish with an orange coin or twist, ideally flamed over the drink.
