Grappa

Pomace brandy, Acquavite d'uva, Chacha

Grappa is an Italian brandy made from grape pomace – that is, the leftover products from winemaking: skins, seeds, stems, etc. It’s typically clear and unaged, although some lightly barrel-aged varieties have begun to appear on the market. It has a gently woody character and is typically drunk as an after-dinner digestif.
