Early Fall Lowball

The Early Fall Lowball is a warmly-spiced twist on the Old Fashioned template from food blogger Emily Farris. It’s perfect for autumn, with whiskey (bourbon is best, we think) providing the perfect woody backbone to chai’s lovely cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom flavors.

Ingredients
- 2 parts Strong chilled Chai
- 2 parts Bourbon or Rye whiskey or Blended whiskey or Irish whiskey or Japanese whisky
- ½ part Orange curaçao
- 3 dashes Creole bitters or Aromatic bitters or Cardamom bitters or Orange bitters
Instructions
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a short glass over ice (preferably one or two large cubes).
