The original Moonwalk cocktail recipe was invented by bartender Joe Gilmore and was (apocryphally) the first drink served to the Apollo 11 crew when they returned to Earth. It’s a light, citrusy sparkler with the scent of roses – perfect for brunch or date night.
If you’re using sparkling wine, shake all the other ingredients with ice first. Strain into a flute glass and top with sparkling wine.
If you’re using vodka, shake all the ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
