Violet-berry liqueur

Violet-berry liqueur is our generic name for Crème Yvette, a beautiful ruby-violet liqueur made from violet petals, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, currants, orange peel, vanilla, honey and spices. We don’t yet know of any substitutes for this unique liqueur and its mile-long ingredient list, but we’re always on the hunt!
Crème Yvette only returned to market in 2009 after a 40-year hiatus, and to this day it can be difficult to find. It’s a bit like crème de violette or raspberry liqueur, and either will do as a decent-enough substitute in a pinch.
