Old Tom gin

Ransom, Haymans

Old Tom is a vintage style of gin, noted for its sweeter, less-botanical profile. It’s a mainstay in many classic cocktails, but disappeared during Prohibition. It might have stayed locked in the vaults of time – had cocktail historian David Wondrich not convinced the folks at Ransom Spirits to begin distilling it anew, kicking off a modern craze for the stuff.
